Come on Family, where's the news?

ok steve's had a crash (and is recovering)..Mia ok, Ruth's got whiplash (not too bad I hope)..., Ivo still hating his job (no insult Ivo, I hate mine), fiona's not got a job and gonna study accounting (I'm starting to get envious sis), mum and dad are in spain, they haven't got a phone yet...they're hanging out in their friends house to make calls home...stephen's never gonna get a phone...Mia's walking, joe and evan are trouble (all boys are trouble)...cara is bigger and reading...amy is cute and cunning...all the kids look wonderful and are happy and getting on well in school, great at sport, drawing and making friends...your social life is better than when you were 21...and you've never been so fit!

...come on, do I have to keep making this stuff up? Where's the news family? You can all blog, it's easy...just log in with your google account and go for it.

Man Land

I have just spent the best part of the waking hours clearing the land behind our house. The intent is to build man land. I've cleared the 1st terrace (4mtr x 20mtr), which I will deck and build a cabin on. The 2nd terrace I'll do next weekend and I'll put a little deck and a long vegy garden.

Moving Out - Starting New

We've been having some comings and goings (all goings actually).

Our lovely neighbours and kids have moved house. There house was too small for their family of 5 (two bedrooms). Their names are Jono & Katharine, Jackson, Reid and Ella. Our kids used to have so much fun together. However the good news is Reid gave luca his batman and spiderman t-shirts...he's worn them ever since!

And Singe & Baby (Grace) have moved into their new home with dad (Ben).

Mixed emotions...our house feels a little Empty.

Introduction

I've been thinking we should set up a blog (a brett family blog) where we can all share photos and setup areas within for each family to post news, post videos and blogs of our weekends away, family catch ups etc.

As our kids all learn how to read and write we will ask them to make their entries so they can also stay in touch with each other.
